The truth about why money is not everything in life. We all know of the famous wealthiest man in the whole world A.K.A Bill Gates. I can’t tell you how much he earns every day but according to statistics, he earns much higher than anyone else on this earth. That is why he is the top richest man. He does earn a lot of money because his fortune started early at the age of 21. He was interviewed 3 months ago and according to Forbes, we are going to see what Bill Gates said. If money is not everything in life or it is we will see.
We all dream of making over $20000+ daily. None of us want to become poor in life. Our needs to have a lot of money do increase all the time. If we are, to sum up, all our daily routine briefly, it would be “go to work, make money, go to work, and make money” Wealth is now our second God, we think about nothing much than our bank account balance. If you are like me, I always calculate the interest I may earn on my account before the month is due. We are all prone to this, is a human disease, we all want to be wealthy and successful.
The Bible says “money can do everything” if money can do everything, then don’t you think is right for me to chase it all day? Indeed it is, when you have cash, you have power, with money one can buy the nicest cloth, drive the latest car and attend the best hospital for better treatment. Is really important in our life. It is something man can never do without. Just have a look at that nice car over there, how does it look, nice right? Yes, but what do you think you must do to get such a car for yourself? You need “Cash”. This has made money almost all that we need in life.
But my question is, Is money really all that you need in life? Comment below with your answer. According to Forbes, Bill Gates said “My life is much important than my money” if so, you may ask what is he going to do with all that’s money. Remember, everything needs money in life. Why is everything about money? I will not push this further but rather I will make it simple for you to understand the current crises. We have all heard of this coronial virus in the system. How many rich peoples have you heard that they are dead? What of poor ones? This virus is so disrespectful, it does not fear any face. No matter how much money you have, either rich or poor when it gets you, it will take your life. My question to you is if money is everything, why is it that most rich peoples are also dying? Can’t their money save them? This reminds me of what a friend of mine said the other day “If this virus kills all those corrupt parliamentarians and those greedy rich peoples, I will be very happy”
So money is not everything in life. We can use this coronial virus as an example to testify it. Our lives and other things listed below are much more important than money.

We have seen why money is not everything in life. But what you must know of is “everything needs money” That is all that our struggling in this world is about. We are doing all our best to have a lot of money so that we can provide for our daily needs. If you have less money, your chances of surviving are really less. And you know what is so hurtful about being poor? You lose respect. In today’s world, if you don’t get money and build a house or buys a car, no one respects you.

1. Your Health is important than money
Will you trade your health for cash? Your health and state of being fit in life is important than any other thing. If you are not physically fit, how are you going to put in a lot of work? It is true when you have money and you fall sick, you may go to the hospital for treatment. But what if no doctor or drug could save you? Will that mean an end of your life? So your health is really much more important than money. Just look at it this way, always health comes first before money. This is because I don’t think you will rise from bed and go to work for cash, whiles you are not on good health.
When you have good health, you may then do all your possible best to work for money. This doesn’t mean you are trading your health for money, no.
2. You need peace of mind
During my college, I rented a house with one of my mates in the city which the school was. Because the school hostel cost much more than I could have afforded, we did that. Within the house, there were other two co-tenants, two girls. They were actually not students and also not married. I will say they were just town girls. During the night, they will invite their friends, watch movies and talk a lot. This continued for almost a month, we couldn’t have a stable mind to learn. Because their house was next to us, whatever they say we hear it. Sometimes when they sing or talk aloud in a middle of our sleep, we had no option than to wake up. This worried us a lot so we decided to rent in a different place where we could learn, and we did that.

But one thing I noticed was, whenever someone disturbs your peace of mind, you become worried and think a lot which could lead to a mental problem. This is because we were feeling uncomfortable and all the time, we were thinking and saying stupid things in our head. The same is true with money. When you have a lot of it but don’t get the peace of mind to sleep, it may lead to a serious health problem that can even take your life. Our body needs to relax after all day of working. So if you don’t give it the rest it needs, it might put you into trouble. So money is important in our lifes but remember, your peace of mind is much more important than money.

But before we get to it, there is one “powerful” lesson I want to show you.
3. Your attitude matters the most
Do you know of any rich man or woman whom everyone disrespects in your community? Such a person has money but his attitude is what people don’t like. No, matter how much cash you have in your bank account. If you are the richest person in your country and you don’t know how to treat peoples. They will never say a good thing about you. Just because you have a lot of money does not mean they should respect you, no. Your attitude is more important than your money. So if you have a lot of cash but look so disrespectful, then consider polishing your attitude.

4. Family is essential
When we talk about life, family is what comes to our mind first. Most peoples don’t know how wealthy their family is, they do unnecessary things to look disrespectful to the members in it. I remember when I was young; I hated my parent very much because they were poor. But now I have realized, they are the best gift God has ever given me. No matter how rich or wealthy you are, if you don’t live your life in way that your family members will have trust in you, you may live with no joy.
5. Skills are wealth having
Why do you think is the main reason, why students trade their time to waste almost 13 years in school. Is there any valuable thing they are after? Is it money? No, it a skill. They do all their best to go to school every day to be thought so that they can master a particular skill they are interested in. Because with a skill, they could land in a good position in a good job. That will pay them a lot of money.

6. Your mind is everything
In life either you will become poor or rich, is a state of mind. That is why the saying goes “Success is a state of mind, the doing is much more important than the saying” to become rich, you get to have brains to succeed.
