Silence is the language of God, all else is poor translation. If you are a Christian and have not come across this phrase more than ten times in your life, it could be five times. One catholic book says “God’s first language is silence, in other to hear him you must practice the act of being quiet.” Either if you can only hear God’s voice by staying quiet or not that is not what am going to talk about it here (no argument). Most often you will hear people asking, what is silence language? What was God’s first language? Who is the silent God? These are all questions most Christians want to find answers to it but can you find it easily?

God has so many characters to which many are being revealed in the bible but not all of it can we see aside his love and kindness. Isaiah 30:15 -18 says. For this is what the sovereign lord Jehovah, the holy one of Israel, says: “By returning to me and resting, you will be saved. Your strength will be in keeping calm and showing trust. But were unwilling. Instead, you said: “No, we will flee on horses!” So flee you will. “And on swift horses we will ride!” So those pursuing you will be swift. A thousand will tremble at the threat of one. At the threat of five you will flee until what is left of you is like a mast on the top of mountain, like a signal pole on a hill. But Jehovah is waiting patiently to show you favor, and will rise up to show you mercy. For Jehovah is a God of justice. Happy are all those keeping in expectation of him.

The above scripture makes it clear that happy are those who keep waiting in expectation of God because they are the ones who Jehovah will rise up to show them favor and mercy. So it is not necessarily about being able to hear God’s voice or knowing what kind of language he speaks. The important thing for us to do is to live our life according to his will and keep waiting for his expectation. Because that is what the only way to salvation and what we must focus on mostly.

In order to understand this language, we must learn to be silent and to rest in God.” Indeed we all would like to hear from God and see how sweet his voice is but do you think if God is to speak to us, he is going to speak to those who are not living their lives according to his will? Never, if you think that is rude or untrue just check way back what happened between Egyptians and the Israelites. Were there not even a single Israelites who were clean? Then why did God chose to speak to Moses only while after all before Moses was able to see the Egyptians he has to go with Aeron?

So need not to border about searching why Silent is the language of God or whatever. What we should do to be saved during the Armageddon is what we should focus on most. Our heavenly father is willing to save all those who want to bow under his silent majesty. It is up to me and you to pray and seek spiritual needs from him to conquer our fear and doubt of this sinful world. But truly it is within silent God speaks to our minds, spirit, and our hearts. The 16th-century mystic, Saint John of the cross, once wrote “God first language is silence”
